San Giovanni School Makiro held an induction ceremony for its new student leaders, with Kanungu Deputy LC5 Hon Rukundo Joshua serving as the guest speaker.
The ceremony brought together school leaders and students for an event focused on leadership and the responsibilities that come with serving as a student leader.
Rukundo spoke to the students about good leadership and encouraged them to understand the responsibilities attached to their positions.
The school’s head teacher also urged the newly appointed leaders to set a good example for other students through their conduct and leadership.
The head prefect pledged to provide good leadership and work with other student leaders during the term. The head girl also promised cooperation as the new leadership team begins its work.
The ceremony later continued with a dinner for the prefects.
