Kashaki Church of Uganda Makes History With Baptisms, Mega Pulpit and Double Quota Achievement

A historic day of faith, achievement and thanksgiving has been recorded at Kashakyi Church of Uganda in Kinkiizi Diocese, where eleven children have been baptised and a brand-new mega pulpit, described as the first of its kind in the entire Diocese of Kinkiizi, has officially been commissioned!

The celebrations took place as Christians gathered to mark the successful completion of the Diocesan Quota submission by Centenary Church of Uganda – Kanyantorogo Parish.

The thanksgiving service was led by the Parish Priest, Rev. Bob Mbabazi Ntegyereize, who commended the Christians for their commitment, sacrifice and determination to accomplish what he described as major milestones for the parish.

In his message, Rev. Bob challenged the Christians not to stop at these achievements, but instead to maintain the same spirit of zeal, unity and commitment in supporting the work of the Church.

The day was also marked by the baptism of eleven children, as families and Christians celebrated the growth of the Church and welcomed the newly baptised children into the Christian faith.

But another major highlight was the commissioning of a highly elevated mega pulpit at Kashakyi Church of Uganda.

The pulpit, which has attracted attention for its unique design and impressive elevation, is being celebrated as the first of its kind in the entire Diocese of Kinkiizi.

The campaign to acquire the new pulpit was led by Mukaaka Mauda Karyarugokwe, whose efforts, together with the support of Christians, resulted in the realisation of this landmark project.

Accompanying the church leadership was the Head of Laity, Mr. James Ntwiirenabo, who congratulated the Christians of Kashakyi for the achievement.

Mr. Ntwiirenabo called upon the Christians to keep the record high, encouraging them to maintain the spirit of hard work, unity and commitment that has produced the new milestone.

And there was more good news from the parish.

During the service, Rev. Bob Mbabazi Ntegyereize announced the completion of the Archdeaconry Quota as well, making the occasion even more significant.

According to the church leadership, the successful completion of both the Diocesan Quota and the Archdeaconry Quota represents a historic achievement, as such a double accomplishment had never before been registered in the parish.
